Switch Blade and The Cross St Crossbones

Switch Blade was first featured in Martin’s solo show: “Got Your Eyes On?” - held at Area 51 on Auckland’s Karangahape road.

The show featured around 8 - 10 large scale paintings of the character Switch Blade and his gang The Cross Street Crossbones.

The paintings were also on show at cult gallery La Luz De Jesus in Los Angeles later that same year.

Switch Blade really was Martin’s alter ego, with many of his friends being infused within the characters of the rest of the gang.

Martin spent many hours working on creating new characters and stories.
